Deborah was born in Nelson, BC and spent her teen years growing up in Revelstoke. She pursued post-secondary education as a legal assistant and moved to Vancouver to develop her craft. After meeting her husband and having their son, they decided to move to Calgary to be closer to family. In Calgary, they welcomed their daughter and she stayed home for a few years to nurture and enjoy her young children.
As her children grew up, she volunteered for many events and programs within their school and was eventually recruited to a paid management position. She later branched into interior design. It was here that she chose to start her own business and has been an interior designer for the past 9 years.
As a business owner, interior designer, legal and executive assistant, manager and supervisor, Deborah is happy to be sharing her experiences with Lynne, Kerry, staff members and clients alike. Though her careers have been varied, there has always been a constant thread that bound them together, her desire to help and support others to be and feel their best. Deborah continues to do design work on a part-time basis and has loved the positive flow of energy from working with everyone at Britannia; getting to know the clients and supporting the practitioners – it’s what keeps her coming back for more!
